Take a Screenshot on Microsoft Surface

Rate this post

The Surface type cover or touch cover lacks the traditional ‘PrintScreen’ button, which is useful for taking a screenshot of your screen.

The Surface device does have a special built-in button combination for you to take a screenshot.  You need to hold the Windows button pressed, and while keeping it pressed, press the volume down button.  With this button combination, a screenshot will be taken and saved to your Picture Library.
