Custom News RSS Feeds from Bing and Google News

You may want to subscribe to top news based on your interests;  your app or social account may also want to automatically feed with news.  In this blog article, I will introduce two popular news RSS feeds and how you can customize it based on your own keywords.

 

Bing News RSS Feed

Bing News is a part of Microsoft’s Bing search engine. It is a search engine and aggregator specifically for news articles through a variety of trusted and credible internet news sources, including New York Times, Washington Post, etc/

The complete Bing News RSS feed without any filters: https://www.bing.com/news?format=RSS

The custom RSS feed is in the form of https://www.bing.com/news/search?q={yourquery}&format=RSS.  For example, https://www.bing.com/news/search?q=developer&format=RSS returns news about developer.

You can also search in http://www.bing.com/news and get the custom RSS feed from the web page:

Google News RSS Feed

Google News provides comprehensive up-to-date news coverage, aggregated from sources all over the world.

The complete Google News RSS feed without any filters: https://news.google.com/news/feeds?output=rss

The custom RSS feed is in this format:  https://news.google.com/news/feeds?q={yourquery}&output=rss.  For example, https://news.google.com/news/feeds?q=developer&output=rss returns news about developer.
